Uniform and First Flight!

The time is here, First Flight time (:
The time we have been anticipating on since tryouts in May!
Competition season is rolling right on in and I am so excited.

We got our uniforms in about a week ago!

A better picture is well on its way! But look how cute it is (:

So since this is the official week of competition season time we have been working hard!
Here's some pics from our last Saturday practice!

Of course its no fun getting up early for cheer practice but it'll pay off when we bring home 1st place titles (:
-------------

I'm a beast!
---------

This is Cameron! He is a freshman at my school and we were talking one day and I came to find out he use to cheer for High Fly. So I drug him to practice one day and he's back and on our team now! I am so happy about having him on our squad.
We have 4 boys now btw! (:
----------------------------

I came across this picture today <3

The first picture was me on Halloween when I was about 3 years old, I was an Alabama cheerleader.
And the second one is me now, at 16 years old as an All Star cheerleader.

Cheerleading has been apart of my life for many years now.
Although next season will be my last, I hope and pray that I have a little girl someday who is just in love with it as I am. I might be a little heartbroken if I don't.

-----------------------

This weekend is going to be lots of fun, and I can't wait to start this season with one of the best teams anyone could ever ask for. I love each and everyone of you guys <3

More pictures to come after First Flight on Sunday (:

I almost forgot!

Shane, the owner of High Fly posted on our FB page that we were going to be having a High Fly School Spirit Day :DDD This meant we got to wear HF stuff to school and take crazy pictures and post them on our page (: So here are a couple of me, Tatum, and Megan!

Pretty cute dont chat think? (:

Another Update!

I haven't posted in a while, I began my Junior year of HS about a month ago, so life's been kinda hectic.
My schedule is absolutely crazy.
On Mondays I have dance
Tuesdays: I coach a youth squad
Wednesdays: Practice
Thursdays: Coaching
Sundays: Practice

So I have something to do every day of the week but Friday, and Saturday.

But an update on my All Star squad.

We got our cheer music, and I love it (:
We also have our final date on our First Flight, which is an exhibition and it is in exactly 43 days (:

That means its crunch time, cause the next weekend it our first actual competition.

And I got my backpack (: Its so cute & I love it so much!

Soon we should be getting in our uniforms, warm ups, makeup, face stickers and everything else (:
---------------------------------

Also, on my youth squad I mentioned above.

This is a local squad that cheers for a football team.
I coach the senior squad which is 10-13 year old girls.
We have a squad of 11 this year which is great. I did this last year as well.
We have now learned all of our cheers and we are working on our competition dance for their competition in October. Its also crunch time for them as well. But I am so excited. I'll keep you updated on them as well (:

Practice Clothes (:

Practice clothes came in (:

Wednesdays attire (:
I love love love these shorts <3

Sundays attire (:
super cute!
These shorts don't belong );
The shorts were mesh like these however they didn't have the white down the sides.
But we had to send them back because Earl, like shorts above, wasn't on them.

Our practice clothes came from GTM, check em out (:

Next up! Since our Sunday shorts don't have liners in them, I decided to wear spandex under them (:
I was at Ross the other day and saw these, yes Nike Pro Combat spandex which usually run about $25
I paid a whole wopping $8.99!
Yes, that was all. I got both pairs for less than the price of one!
I <3 Ross

I love them <3

Skills Camp & Such!

High Fly had its first annual Skills Camp (:
It was so much fun, and if you've ever been to an UCA or NCA
one day camp, this was kinda the idea of one.

But before I get started...my new "new" shoes came in.
I did recently get a pair of Nfinity Phoenix, however, I wear cheer shoes like nobodys business...so I got another pair (:

These are Varsitys Last Pass, and I love them(:
Totally worth the $90.
However, I have broke them in and now have them put up for competition season that starts in October.
<3

Ohhhhkayyyy now.
Skills camp lasted for two days.
My gym actually have 4 different locations.
We had it at the "original" HF facility & all teams were there.
Anywhere from the mini teams to the senior teams

Day 1:

Day 1 we did more learning but if you know Shane (owner) you know we're gonna play some too(:
*Work Hard, Play Hard*

At lunch time, Shane told us all to take some kind of crazy picture and post it on our FaceBook wall.
& this would be the idea me and Megan had.
Scorpions!
And of course we didn't tear down that sign in the background
or did we..?
;)

Day 2:
We also had a clothing requirement type thing.
Day 1 we wore tryout shirts and Nikes.
Day 2 we got to be kind of "unique"
All squads had a different colors.
Ours we lime green <3

So me and Megan of course had matching shirts..and bow...and shorts...and headbands.
Okay okay, we completely matched...we know we're freaks.

I made the shirt, oh and the bow <3 With the help of my lovely mommy of course!
THANKS MOM!

This was, of course, before I was sweaty and gross.

we tied our shirts up to look like tank tops, what a great idea!!!
---------------------

Okay, this is just too funny.
The Stingers, a Mini HF squad was sitting near us while we we're watching our little competitions between the teams. One of the Stingers coaches asked if we would hold the little squirts while we were sitting there cause there like 4 and 5 and running everywhere. Well my squad was sitting across the wall. All the little ones took a seat in everyones lap. But, we have a boy, Tyler, on our squad and he held his arms out waiting for one to approach him, and they all just kept on walking by him looking at him like he was some kind of varmint!
It was just wayyyy to funny!
Then they all got antsy again and me and Tatum had about 4 or 5 little ones on just our laps. The teeniest, tinesty, cutest of all took her foot and started like kicking my the side of my leg, I was like uhm lets not do that. She looked at me with her little evil eyes then she put her tiny little hand on Tatums leg and stared like pinching her skin. Next thing I know Tatum screams, SHE BIT ME, and sure enough, Tatum had been bitten by the baby cheerleader. Evil little thing. -.-

I had my share of battle wounds as well.
First day, my finger got jammed doing baskets.
Second day, lip got busted doing full downs and I had to rip my skin off.
Gross, I know.

After that crazy, fun, but crazy day we went to Yogurt Mountain. (:
The little girls in red are Holly and Abbie from our Junior Squad Jolt.
I love them (:

Hope you enjoyed!
<3 xoxo, Hailey (:

UPDATE!
Our squad is looking great!
We are competing in large division this year so my coach wanted 31 girls to make choreography work.
We were slacking and all needed to recruit. Well last night at practice we had between 6- 10 new girls. We are now one shy of being 31 if all these girls continue with us (:
I sure hope they do!

Coming Soon!
